    In marketing, there is the law of reciprocity: I give you something, you give me something. Think about offering some content for the privilege of obtaining their information. Then, of course, you need a form to gather and send the information.

    If you are working with a “clean” opt-in list, your subscribers have signed up because they want to hear from you. If your content is providing value, then once a week could be perfect. If your content is more about company or industry news etc., I would publish not more than once a month.

    Put yourself in the mindset of a casual subscriber with a full inbox on a Monday morning and do what feels right.

    Lastly, a good rule of thumb is that consistency is better than frequency.
